VERY Comfortable but feels half a size larger than marked May 12, 2008
The hardest thing about ordering asgi online is that they're not true to size. I tried their loafers and mary janes on at macy's and their 7.5's were too big for me. I'm a 7.5M but had to buy a 7M for one of their shoes at macy's and it felt a little bigger. I even had to go one whole shoe size down in their mary janes. Since macy's didn't have these sneakers, i didn't know if i should go half a size down to a 7M or down further to a 6.5.
This sneaker is VERY comfortable. I ordered half a size smaller than what i usually wear and it fits well. The gray aspect of this shoe is meshy so it allows your feet to breathe making it perfect for the summer. The white part is leather. Also, amazon's price for this shoe makes it a steal. These shoes are true to width but not true to length so save yourself the trouble and order at least half a size down. Also asgis only come in medium width...just an fyi.
**So, i've been wearing this for sometime and i discovered something about it. It works great for those 12hr shifts at the hospital. I put them on one time while rushing to work and i was surprised at how they held up the whole shift. No calf pain, no back pain. I had to wear them the next day. I do 3 12s in a row and i wear these 2 of the 3 days. I hate to wear such cute shoes to work but my back was so sore one time after work i couldn't even bend at my waist, and no, i'm very, very young - just starting life from college my back and leg aches aren't from doing this for a long time. Plus, i get compliments all the time when i wear them (i purchased the white ones but it looks like only the black ones are left). Asgis are leather shoes but they don't make your feet sweat. I wear them in the summer but if you need to wear them in the winter time, order your regular size so you can wear the thick regular socks with the shoes. If you're a nurse, try these on. Amazon has them for cheap.
