4Add a little color  Jan 27, 2008
Because I am on my feet so much, I decided to try a pair of these Born red mary-janes. I prefer mary-janes because with the strap I don't have to worry so much about my heel sliding in and out - I just like the extra security. The red, I thought, would add a little spice. I love the color, and the heel height is perfect: not so tall that I might break an ankle (or my neck!), but not so flat that I can't show off my legs in them. The only thing that I don't absolutely love: the way the shoes are cut over the top of the foot where your toes go in. They are just a little tighter than I'd like in that area. Otherwise, a beautiful, fun, comfortable shoe that gets me lots of complements.
