Yuck! Jan 14, 2008 I love most Donald Pliner shoes. These were cute in the picture but ugly on the feet and not that comfortable.

Pliner Fiba Thong Sep 14, 2007 Be aware that the inside part of thong is missing. In other words, the top panel of the sandal does not span the foot totally. I thought it looked odd and isn't apparent from the pictures. Also, the stiffness of the leather on the panel dug into the top of my toes.

Beautiful ASYMETRICAL Design Shoe Aug 17, 2007 I had to write this review after reading the two less than favorable reviews. I have this in Sand (leopard). The top is designed to be asymetrical and yes, the top strap doesn't cover the entire top of the foot but covers 80% and is an asymetrical style. I love this sandal and have had it for one year. If your foot is on the wide side then Donald Pliner is not your maker as his shoes run more narrow/average. And They always get lots of compliments and notice. I have to hide them from my 25 yr. old niece to keep her from borrowing them too often. These were a tremendous buy when bought on sale !
