Pretty 40's Style Shoes Dec 11, 2007 These shoes are beautifully styled. Very vintage looking. I wasn't very impressed with the leather, it was cheaper looking that I'd hoped. But the shoes are comfortable and easy to walk in. Worth $50 but I would have been very disappointed if I'd paid full price at $170.

Great retro shoes Dec 07, 2007 Very comfortable despite the nearly 4" heel with a nicely padded sole. A great deco inspired design--the platform is 1940's but the leather design is more 1930's. The heel is substantial enough to walk in easily but shaped and thin enough to look elegant. The top strap is elasticized which helps personalize the fit. I bought a size 9 and the shoe fit perfectly. If I had the money I'd buy a pair in every color--great shoes!
